Coffee is a fruit.
A cup that lets you taste it.

Coffee cherries

COFFEE IS A FRUIT

Coffee begins
with a fruit

Coffee is made from the seed of a cherry-like fruit known as the coffee cherry.

Coffee’s naturally fruity character

Because coffee comes from a fruit, fruity aromas and flavors are a natural and important part of its character.

As specialty coffee has become more widely appreciated, coffees with bright, fruit-like flavors have gradually gained popularity.

Fruity coffee

GOOD ACIDITY

Bright acidity is different
from unpleasant sourness

In Japan, coffees with noticeable acidity were avoided for many years, so fruity styles remained relatively unfamiliar.

This is believed to be partly due to the unpleasant sourness associated with low-quality beans or coffee that has oxidized over time after roasting.

The bright, lively acidity derived from coffee cherries is completely different from the unpleasant sourness caused by oxidation.

MILD & FRUITY

Mild, balanced and fruity

Tabi Suru Coffee Fruity Type is blended to let you experience the fact that coffee begins with fruit.

It offers a distinct fruit-like character without becoming overly acidic, resulting in a mild and approachable cup.

A vibrant blend full of character

The blend is based on Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Gesha coffees, complemented by beans from Costa Rica, Myanmar, and other carefully selected origins.

HOW TO ENJOY

Enjoy it hot, as an Americano,
or over ice

Enjoy it hot as it is, or add a small amount of hot water after brewing to create a clean and refreshing Americano with a light, tea-like character.

Brew it slightly stronger and rapidly cool it in a glass filled with ice for a bright and refreshing iced coffee, almost like a coffee juice.

UNIQUE ROASTING METHOD

Vivid aromas and
a smooth, mellow finish

Washing and polishing the green beans brings out their aromas and flavors more clearly. Roasting them with heated steam creates a smoother and more mellow finish.

SPECIALTY COFFEE

What is specialty coffee?

Specialty coffee refers to exceptionally high-quality coffee and is generally considered to represent roughly the top 5% of coffee distributed worldwide.

COFFEE FOR A BETTER FUTURE

Coffee that connects you to the world

Tabi Suru Coffee is more than simply a blend of high-quality specialty coffees.

Approximately half of the blend consists of coffees connected to animal protection and fair trade initiatives, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Enjoying a delicious cup of coffee can also help support the natural environment and the livelihoods of coffee-producing communities.

Animal and forest conservation in Central America

Protecting animals and forests

The blend includes coffee connected to conservation efforts that protect jaguars, pumas, and other animals living in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and other parts of Central America, together with the forests and ecosystems that support them.

This coffee is produced through initiatives led by the nonprofit organization FUNDAZOO .

Fair trade that supports
the future of producers

Coffee beans grown in Myanmar and other regions are purchased through fair trade frameworks.

Myanmar is also a lesser-known coffee-producing region recognized by coffee enthusiasts for producing outstanding beans.

Coffee production in Myanmar
Coffee processing facility

Turning coffee production
into lasting support

A coffee processing facility has been donated in Myanmar to encourage long-term trade relationships and support the production of higher-quality coffee.

In many developing coffee-producing regions, farmers sell freshly harvested coffee cherries to buyers who travel from village to village by truck. This can result in low purchase prices and limited income for farmers.

By having a processing facility in their own village, producers can process the cherries themselves and ship a higher-value product, helping them earn a greater return from their coffee.

In Myae Ni Kone Village in Shan State, Myanmar, where the processing facility was donated, coffee farmers’ incomes are reported to have tripled since the facility began operating.
