FUJI SPRING WATER
Green coffee beans polished
with Mt. Fuji spring water
Tabi Suru Coffee Mild Type is made by washing and polishing green coffee beans with spring water from Mt. Fuji, followed by roasting with heated steam.
Exceptional beans, carefully refined
We use only top-class specialty coffee beans.
Brazilian beans form the base of the blend, complemented by beans from Tanzania, Myanmar, East Timor, and other carefully selected regions.
UNIQUE ROASTING METHOD
Vivid aromas and
a smooth, mellow finish
Washing and polishing the green beans brings out their aromas and flavors more clearly. Roasting them with heated steam creates a smoother and more mellow finish.
A refined original blend created with the blessing of Mt. Fuji’s spring water.
Enjoy it hot or iced
Enjoy it hot as it is, or brew it slightly stronger and rapidly cool it in a glass filled with ice for a refreshing and delicious iced coffee.
SPECIALTY COFFEE
What is specialty coffee?
Specialty coffee is exceptionally high-quality coffee and is generally considered to represent roughly the top 5% of coffee distributed worldwide.
COFFEE FOR A BETTER FUTURE
Coffee that connects you to the world
Tabi Suru Coffee is more than simply a blend of high-quality specialty coffees.
Approximately half of the blend consists of coffees connected to animal protection and fair trade initiatives, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Enjoying a delicious cup of coffee can also help support the natural environment and the livelihoods of coffee-producing communities.
Protecting animals and forests
The blend includes coffee produced through initiatives associated with the Jane Goodall Institute, which works to protect chimpanzees and the forests where they live in Tanzania.
Fair trade that supports
the future of producers
Coffee beans grown in Myanmar, East Timor, and other regions are purchased through fair trade frameworks.
Myanmar and East Timor are also lesser-known coffee-producing regions recognized by coffee enthusiasts for producing outstanding beans.
Turning coffee production
into lasting support
A coffee processing facility has been donated in Myanmar to encourage long-term trade relationships and support the production of higher-quality coffee.
In many developing coffee-producing regions, farmers sell freshly harvested coffee cherries to buyers who travel from village to village by truck. This can result in low purchase prices and limited income for the farmers.
By having a processing facility in their own village, producers can process the cherries themselves and ship a higher-value product, helping them earn a greater return from their coffee.
In Myae Ni Kone Village in Shan State, Myanmar, where the processing facility was donated, coffee farmers’ incomes are reported to have tripled since the facility began operating.
